Welcome Unification – Taking Bowls Forward  The Scottish Bowling Association and Scottish Women’s Bowling Association have been working closely for the last 10 years to become a modern, focused and unified governing body by the end of 2010.   Since the SWBA AGM in 2009 voted in favour of unification, the unification board has met frequently throughout this year to ensure that both parties have had regular and full communication as we work towards a single strategy and organisation which will reflect the joint goals of our sport.   Unification will ensure that the new governing body - which will be known as ‘Bowls Scotland’ - will create a streamlined and centralised administrative set up for the 21st century.
